Self defense for women is important for every woman to know. Rapes, sexual assault, robberies, muggings, and any other form of violent crimes are everywhere. Take a stand and make the attacker regret messing with you!

First, learn and target the vulnerable points on the body. The eyes, face, and groin are all tender spots, striking them might, deter your attacker. Don’t limit yourself to kicks and punches to those places, head butts, and elbows can just as easily cause pain.

Second. Learning how to defend yourself from guns and knifes will also become important. Think like an attacker for a second, if you were going to attack someone would you go unarmed? Of course not! Always assume that your attacker has a weapon on him or her.

Third, and most importantly, become very aware of your surroundings and the people who are around you. Learn how to read simple body language. It isn’t enough to try and profile people based on race or how they dress, statistically there is no really “look” to someone who is going to attack you. If you feel uncomfortable around someone or you see someone who makes you uncomfortable, get away from them. If you are with your friends, stay close to them and don’t get caught alone!

Like I have said, self defense for women is important. The attacker is either going to attack you or not. If he or she chooses to it is better to know how to defend yourself and stop the attack as soon as possible!
