Gain Muscle Mass Even If You Are Too Skinny

Sure… in the modern world… most folks are overweight or obese… statistics show us this. But then again, there are many people just like you… who are skinny.

In short, just about every single magazine, book and website out there is all focused on weigh loss or fat loss. Rarely any of them will mention the skinny and scrawny people. So I decided to write something about what YOU can do right now so be sure to pounce on the rest of this article like a starving pit bull!

To begin with… the reason most of us healthy people are skinny is because of our genes or super fast metabolism. It is a curse than most of the bigger sized folks don’t really understand…

The truth of the matter is… being skinny ain’t fun! You feel like a walking stick. People tease you about it. You are never picked for sports because you are weak and frail. Or the girls that you like ignore you because… you are too SKINNY! URRRGGGHHH!

So you are stuck being in skinny hell and there is nothing you can do about it…

Oh really? Is that so?

YES! You can gain muscle mass. Yes! You can get definition on your frame. And it doesn’t matter if you are a woman or a man. If you don’t like the way you look… you can do something about it!

But keep in mind… there is a whole ‘nother set of rules for the thin and skinny folks.

I think I blathered enough… this requires that you keep an open mind and close off all the well-meaning advice from your bodybuilder friends and fitness/bodybuilding magazines… because all that advice won’t work for the skinny people like us.

Got it?

OK. Let’s begin with 5 OUTRAGEOUS tips how to gain weight — real muscle mass with definition… Let’s shoot for 10 pounds in one freakin’ month!

One) There is no way around it. If you are serious about gaining weight — then you MUST eat! Like there is no tomorrow! So tip one is this — double up your meals. It means what it says. If you eat one piece of chicken breast for lunch. Double it up! Eat two. Force it down! If you supplement your calories with a protein drink, double up the protein powder… Same thing for every meal you eat from this time forward…

Two) Embrace food! Learn how to love cooking and preparing delicious meals because you sure won’t have that much of an appetite! Eat every two to three hours! Be sure to eat your first meal within thirty minutes after you wake up. Plan your meals. Get enough food at the grocery store. Prepare the meals for a week so you won’t have to live in the kitchen… (unless you want to) — there’s nothing wrong with that… :)

Three) Eat like a Texan. Use big plates, big bowls and big cups. As I said, under-eat and you won’t see the gains. You MUST overeat and cram that food inside you because no amount of super-duper special exercises or steroids is going to make your muscles bigger. You must FEED your body. It is the only way to gain weight. Seriously, if you don’t get it by now…

Four) Never, ever do this while working out… HUNGRY!!! Eat before you workout. Feed yourself while you are working out. And feed yourself after you are working out. And why? Because your muscles are working very hard… they need energy! If you deny your body that energy… well, your muscles are going to go ahead and rob your other muscles for the energy — without your permission! And you can take that to the bank. So if you have been working out incredibly hard for months and months with very little muscle gains… I’m betting dollars to donuts you have been working out in the starvation mode. Common sense just tells you that.

Five) Don’t workout first thing in the morning. Be sure to eat 2-3 meals BEFORE you work out. A simple analogy would be this… would you go on a long car ride to the mountains on a quarter tank of gasoline? Of course not! That would be ridiculous. Well, same thing if you show up at the gym with a body that hasn’t fully replenished itself after a long, overnight fast…

Do all these things and there is an EXCELLENT chance you will gain a quick 10 pounds of hard core muscles in one month.
